With roots deep in the North Georgia mountains, Marty was born and raised in Blue Ridge and has spent his entire career in the building industry. His journey began in 1999 while attending college and working at Home Depot, where he developed a strong foundation in construction materials, customer service, and the needs of builders and homeowners.

Over the next two decades, Marty worked with several building supply companies across the Southeast, gaining hands-on experience with millwork, windows, doors, and exterior building products. Along the way, he learned that success isn’t just about quality materials. It’s about building relationships, offering honest guidance, and helping customers make the right decisions for their projects.

In 2017, Marty and his wife turned that passion into a reality by founding MW Millworks in Ellijay, Georgia. Today, they proudly serve residential and commercial customers, builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout the Southeast, providing premium building materials backed by personalized service, industry expertise, and small-town values.
